ÀYỌ̀NÍ (ah-YAW-nee) is Yoruba for "something you're happy to have." It's the feeling of opening your wardrobe and finding the thing that always works — soft, considered, ready. We make African womenswear worth keeping.

The founder

Meet Oluwatoyin.

Oluwatoyin started ÀYỌ̀NÍ from a frustration most Nigerian women know too well: ordering a piece months ahead of an owambe, then chasing a tailor in the final week, then wearing something that almost — but not quite — fits.

She wanted a different way. Pieces designed and finished in advance. Pieces you could try, hold, and take home the same week you decided you wanted them. Pieces that respected your time as much as your eye.

ÀYỌ̀NÍ is her version of that promise — Yoruba womenswear that’s ready when you are, made in Osogbo with the kind of care she’d want for her own people.

  6. 6.All dresses are ready to wear, immediately shippable except when sold out.
